Hi, my name is Ted and Im a lifelong swimmer. Ive been involved in USA Swimming, high school, and now US Masters swimming. I have over 5 years of experience coaching swimming to infants and up. Ive been a K-8 teacher since 2001. I enjoy using games and play to teach particular skills in the water. I have experience working with students on the Autism spectrum as a K-8 teacher of fine arts. I compete in swimming on the national level placing in the top ten in distance events in US Masters.

Hi, Im Lauren! Im a swim instructor from Phoenix, AZ, and Ive been teaching for 3 years with the city of Mesa. Ive worked with all ages (6 months to 68!) and with students with varying abilities. Im also a current Nursing student, lifeguard, and EMT, and have a background in synchronized swimming! Ive always loved the water and grew up diving, skiing, and wakeboarding. I love helping students gain confidence in the water while having fun and staying safe. Whether youre a parent with a kiddo whos just getting in the water or youre just looking to improve your skills, Im excited to be a part of your swimming journey!

Hi, my name is Jessica and I am 21 years old. I have taught swim lessons for 3 years from ages 2-10 years old. I have a great passion for teaching and helping people. I tend to have very 1 on 1 lessons formed around technique and basics of swimming. I enjoy teaching swim lessons because I get to be a part of a huge milestone for children to accomplish and get excited about. I cant wait to help your kids, grandkids, nieces, or nephews learn such an important life skill!

Hi Im Asher :) I have been a lifeguard/swim instructor for 3 years at the YMCA. I have been able to help so many people learn to swim, and each one has been such a fun journey. I have experience with students of all skill levels, from infants to 65+ year-olds. I really value making whoever I teach feel safe and comfortable in the water. Hello! My name is Tiffany. I grew up around a swimming family, including myself with 12 years of competitive swimming. I have been a swim instructor for all levels and ages. I have always said water is your friend, not your enemy! I have also worked as a lifeguard for Disney's Typhoon Lagoon. I strongly believe in having a safe environment with anyone around bodies of water. I incorporate having safety talks with all levels of swimming . I bring a positive attitude in and out of the pool. My goal for any student is to reach their goals and be able to feel safe in expressing their every need to succeed in swimming, including the Guardians of my students. I'm excited to meet my students and help them succeed in this journey!

My name is Amy and I think I was a mermaid in a past life! Ive been swimming since I was 2, taught my siblings to swim, spent all my summer days at the pool, took swimming as an elective in college, taught swim lessons age infant- adult for the city recreation dept and was also a swim coach for Team in Training triathlon team! I am passionate about helping children and adults feel comfortable and most importantly safe in the water using different techniques tailored to age and specific needs. Everything from learning to float, safely getting to the side of the pool, holding the breath under water, to stroke techniques. I am also a special needs mother and have experience helping individuals with a variety of disabilities!

I love hearing, "I didn't know I could do that!" It's so cool to see the excitement when students can do something they couldn't before. I especially love it when they overcome their fear of the water. From my first race at 5 years old to lifeguarding as a teen, swimming, and water safety have been a passion of mine. I have experience teaching ages 6 months to 14 years, adults, and students with special needs. I believe fun and trust are important elements in learning to swim.
