This was our second summer using Sunsational for swim instruction and we couldn't be happier. Our daughter (3 yrs old) and son (14 mos) enjoyed their time spent with Lisa M. Our daughter went from wearing a back-floatie to diving down for treasures on the pool floor. She learned the basics of several swim strokes and Lisa did a fabulous job of navigating toddler emotions with her creative adventure stories. Our son was hesitant to go to Lisa at first so she showed me several things we could do together to get him more comfortable in the water. By the end of the summer (when we were 16 mos), he was holding onto the edge of the pool, climbing up the stairs to get out, and keeping his mouth closed underwater. Will hope to connect with Lisa M. for next summer - she had the best way with the kids!
Carla is a fantastic swim instructor! She worked very well with two 3 year olds and they came really for in their swim and safety skills in a short amount of time. Carla was always punctual and communicated regularly. She has been a pleasure to work with and now we can be sure the kids are safe around the pool!

We've had a fantastic experience! In the first lesson, my twin boys were afraid to get their faces wet...and now a week later they are becoming their own confident little bubble guppies...best decision we've made for swim lessons! Thanks to our instructor, who was patient and reassuring they have truly grown their love and confidence to bring in the water. Each had their own apprehensions and she tailored their lessons so that each was addressed. Truly awesome..;)
I am so happy that I stepped out of my comfort zone this summer and contacted Sunsational Swim School. I couldn't swim at all or even float before (I had tried group lessons in the past). I took private lessons this time and my instructor for 12 sessions was Kyree Jones.
He was very professional and always on time. But most importantly I can swim now! Kyree was so patient and just a lot of fun to learn with. My goals were to learn the free style and be able to float on my back. I can now free style, float, breast stroke, swim on my back, push off (front and backwards) and more. I actually have three more lessons with him next week so he taught me all this in just 9 sessions, I can't say enough about Kyree. I'm 52 y/o and I can finally swim! He always adds something new each session. I have gotten so many compliments on my progress from neighbors and the life guards since we use the pool at my condo residence. I'm sure I didn't look like a success story on day one, but now I'm enjoying the pool with confidence. I have already found an indoor pool to continue my progress through the winter, I'm so motivated about going to the pool now, whereas I mostly avoided it before. Rebekah "Bekah" is absolutely FANTASTIC! My daughter was quite afraid of entering the pool without floaties, and after less than 10 sessions with Bekah, she is swimming totally floaty-free and has mastered floating on her back and holding her breath under water. I cannot say enough about Bekah's skill at coaching and teaching even the most reluctant of 5-year-olds...my daughter loves her, and she is a true professional. Bekah is also extremely accommodating with her schedule and availability. I am so glad we were paired up with her, and I hope that Bekah will help teach my son when he is old enough!
I think Amy is great. I am terrified of water and she is very patient and helps me overcome these fears. I am a senior and started swimming lessons several times before but could not overcome the fear of water and as a result did not continue. With Amy it is different, she encourages me to try and is excited when I do well. I can float by myself, stand up and lost the fear of water. I am so happy to be in the water and feel comfortable. I still have a long way to go before I can do laps in the pool but I am looking forward to that day and I am convinced and motivated that I can reach that goal.

Our Learn to Swim Guarantee is a water safety skill set designed for young beginners. If your child were to jump or be lightly dropped into the water, our instructor teaches them to turn around, kick and grab the wall. Most kids are able to learn these skills - and more - within 12 private lessons, but if your child needs more time to meet this goal, we'll give each student up to 4 additional 30 minute lessons free. Here are the general requirements for more lessons: a) student is 3-17 years old b) student completes at least 12 private 30 minute lessons c) student has at least 3 lessons per week d) pool is minimum 82 degrees for all lessons e) student does not require special needs instruction or extreme fear counseling.
