This was a far better option than taking our girls to group swim lessons where they would likely swim only 10 minutes of the full lesson time and spend the rest of the time waiting for other kids to swim. It was very convenient to have the swim instructor come to us and the girls progressed much more in 6 lessons than they ever would have in group lessons, and we didn't have to drive anywhere. The instructor was very good with children and professional.
We have had a positive experience with Sunsational. We love the flexibility of when and where to do our lessons. And as for our instructor, Stephanie, she is a star. She is very, very patient and kind. She uses various ways and little 'games' to encourage my son. She's gentle and understanding, but also firm when necessary. My son isn't a fan of the water, but with Stephanie's patience, we have made great progress from very scared to even stand in the water to starting to swim with help. I can't praise Stephanie enough!!
This is our second round of swimming lessons with Sunsational and they were great. Kim was our instructor for 4 kids between 3-5years and she was patient and tailored to their varying experience levels. All the kids enjoyed their lessons and I would definitely book again!

Our Learn to Swim Guarantee is a water safety skill set designed for young beginners. If your child were to jump or be lightly dropped into the water, our instructor teaches them to turn around, kick and grab the wall. Most kids are able to learn these skills - and more - within 12 private lessons, but if your child needs more time to meet this goal, we'll give each student up to 4 additional 30 minute lessons free. Here are the general requirements for more lessons: a) student is 3-17 years old b) student completes at least 12 private 30 minute lessons c) student has at least 3 lessons per week d) pool is minimum 82 degrees for all lessons e) student does not require special needs instruction or extreme fear counseling.
