Julia is great. She is patient and very friendly which makes it easier for older customers to feel good about learning as adults. We could not be more pleased with Sunsational and our swim instructor, Debarati. From the very first lesson, my husband and I could see a noticeable difference in both our 5 and 3-year-olds demeanor towards swimming and getting their face wet. Both of our children could not swim in the beginning but within a few lessons, our 5-year-old was starting to swim on his own with supervision, happily dunking his head underwater and very excited about his progress. Our 3-year-old was extremely fearful of getting her face wet but Debarati was kind and patient but gave a gentle push and helped to give our daughter confidence in her abilities. Debarati was exceptional-professional, punctual, kind and we all really enjoyed working with her this summer!
Debarati was such a wonderful instructor for our 5 and 3 year old! We have had months of swim classes at another swim school with very little progress and within the first class, both kids were dipping their faces under water! By the end of our 12 lessons, our 5 year old is swimming independently and our 3 year old has greatly improved, as well. We all loved working with Debarati and would definitely recommend her and Sunsational!
We decided to do private back yard swim lessons for my 7 month old given that group classes were cancelled due to Covid. Sam our instructor has been amazing - we wear masks, she is so positive and informed and she is great with the baby helping to make swim time fun and get him comfortable in the water. She has also been super flexible and easy to work with! Highly recommend Sam!

Our Learn to Swim Guarantee is a water safety skill set designed for young beginners. If your child were to jump or be lightly dropped into the water, our instructor teaches them to turn around, kick and grab the wall. Most kids are able to learn these skills - and more - within 12 private lessons, but if your child needs more time to meet this goal, we'll give each student up to 4 additional 30 minute lessons free. Here are the general requirements for more lessons: a) student is 3-17 years old b) student completes at least 12 private 30 minute lessons c) student has at least 3 lessons per week d) pool is minimum 82 degrees for all lessons e) student does not require special needs instruction or extreme fear counseling.
