Sunsational Swim School requires a minimum of 2 years of professional teaching experience before joining our team as a Sunsational certified instructor. Previous professional experience can include teaching for the YMCA or other accredited swimming facilities, lifeguarding, coaching a swim team, etc. While having a strong background in swimming activities such as participating on a swim team or water polo team are encouraged, they do not qualify as professional teaching experience. Sunsational Swim School is considered an elite swimming program. On average, our swimming instructors have several years of personal swim training in addition to their years of professional teaching experience.
