Ive also worked with children from ages 8-15 as a camp counselor for the past three summers where I supervised swimming and group periods. I went to school at Doane University where I completed my undergrad in Exercise Science and completed my masters in Buisness Mangement. I love teaching swimming because I love helping children learn new tasks and of course, I love the water!

I work as a teacher of the visually impaired and I hold two master's degrees. I have been a teacher for 4 years and have worked in many water sports summer camps in Florida. As a Floridian, growing up around water was second nature. I aim for my students to develop that same level of comfort in the water!

I love teaching because watching a swimmer build confidence and skill is so rewarding. Also as a parent, I want to do my part to reduce water related tragedies in Arizona.

I've taught children from the ages of 6 months up to 10 years of age but would love to teach older kids and adults as well! Hi, my name is Alex and I have been teaching swim lessons for 4 years with ages of kids 19 months to 16 years. I also have worked with students who had disabilities through Special Olympics. I have also worked with children for 7 years through being a tutor and nanny. I currently am a junior at Arizona State University and am studying nursing. I love teaching swimming because I love to see the smiles on the kids faces when they master a new skill.
Aloha, my name is Teak Drewett-Tyson, to tell you a little about myself, I am from Hawaii and have spent almost all my life in or around the water. I have been competitively swimming all my life, and in high school, I was swim team captain and a state swimmer. I also worked at becoming a Navy rescue diver after completing my schooling at ASU. I have also worked with ages 2-adults when I worked with the Boys&Girls club for 7 years.

Growing up on an island in the South Pacific named New Caledonia, I enjoyed swim and shared my love of this sport as an athlete/swim coach. Hi, Im Abby! I grew up surfing, scuba diving, and swimming competitively. I received my biology degree from Arizona State University, where I discovered underwater hockeymy all-time favorite water sport! I spent three years as a lifeguard at two different ASU pools as well as at a city pool, where I taught several years of swim lessons. I have experience with students of all ages (infant to adult), abilities (including adaptive swimming), and comfort levels (even hydrophobia).
