I was a member of a competitive swim team for 13 years of my youth, and transitioned to coaching, to give back the wonderful experience I had, to the next generation. I have also coached kids in sports like Climbing, Skiing, and Martial Arts, and have found coaching to be incredibly rewarding. Swimming is a fundamental skill, and I am excited to share it with anyone who wants to learn!

Later on I was a certified lifeguard and wanting to help more people, I worked my way to become a certified Water Safety Instructor through the American Red Cross. Hi, Im Bobby and Ive been teaching swim lessons since I was a swimmer myself, over 10 years ago! With kids as young as 4 to as old as 18. Ive also worked as an umpire for youth baseball, a private tutor for 2nd and 4th graders, and a live in nanny for 3 children under 10 years old. I like kids because their main focus is to have fun (most of the time), and I also love helping and watching them learn because it helps me with the challenges life brings to remember what it was like.

I went to Carnegie Mellon University where I received my undergrad and graduate degrees in civil engineering, however, I love coaching swimming. Providing the life long skill of swimming to people of all ages is a true joy of mine!
