We guarantee that with the help of our talented swim teachers, your child (age 3 or older) will be able to swim without help back to the edge of the pool after their instructor drops them into the water by the time they have completed their guarantee to swim package—just 12 lessons, or get up to 4 additional lessons free*.
What is the Learn to Swim Guarantee?
Your child will learn to turn around, swim/kick back to the wall, and grab the wall independently. If your child can't perform these essential safety skills within just 12 private, 30-minute lessons, we'll provide up to 4 additional lessons free!*
Drowning is the leading cause of accidental death for young children in the United States. If your child can hold their breath, kick to the surface, and reach the edge of the pool unassisted they're 84 % less likely to drown than kids who haven't learned these vital skills.
The Sunsational Safety Sequence
This is the set of survival skills every child in our guarantee program learns. If they fall into a pool, they'll know exactly what to do.
1. Turn around
If your child falls into the pool, they learn to turn around to face the edge of the pool from where they entered.
2. Safely resurface
Your child learns to resurface calmly after going underwater, maintaining composure in an unexpected situation.
3. Kick back to the edge
Using the kicking technique taught during lessons, your child propels themselves back toward the pool wall.
4. Grab onto the wall
The final step: your child grabs onto the pool edge and holds on until help arrives or they can safely climb out.

How to qualify for the guarantee
Meeting these simple requirements ensures your child gets the focused, consistent practice they need to master the Sunsational Safety Sequence.
Your child must be age 3 or older
Lessons must be private (one-on-one with an instructor)
You must purchase a 12-lesson package or larger
Lessons must be scheduled at least 3 times per week
Lessons must be 30 minutes or longer per student in a pool 82°F or warmer
Students must not have special needs or medical conditions requiring adaptive instruction

*The Learn to Swim Guarantee applies to lesson packages of 12 or more 30-minute private sessions per student for students ages 3–17, scheduled at least 3 times per week, in pools at least 82°F, and only for students without special needs or medical conditions requiring adaptive instruction. The guarantee covers the turn-kick-grab water safety sequence, as taught by your instructor. If your student cannot perform the sequence by end of their last lesson in your guaranteed package, Sunsational Swim School will provide up to 4 free additional lessons, 30 minutes each. To claim additional lessons, you must notify Sunsational Swim School within 72 hours of the final lesson. Results may vary based on age, comfort, and prior experience. The guarantee does not apply in cases of extreme fear, non-compliance, or if requirements are not met. Sunsational Swim School reserves the right to determine eligibility and fulfillment of the guarantee. Water safety is always our top priority, regardless of guarantee eligibility.
